I recently had my home photographed by the talented Tavis Bohlinger Photography as he was adding to his local portfolio. It was so refreshing to see through a new lens and I’m super grateful for his talent and time. ❤️ {https://tavisbohlinger.com}
Many of you know that I was struggling to get excited about design again after COVID and haven’t been accepting new clients for the past few years. I feel very strongly that if your designer isn’t excited about your project, she shouldn’t be working for you and so I took a pause…
So this is me, cautiously excited about taking on some new challenges in 2025 and flexing some of my design skills again. I think after almost 20 years of owning my own business, worn down was an understatement and a break was in order.
I’m planning on dipping my toes back in slowly and trying to rekindle what I love about doing this and a big part of that is helping people love where they live!
I’ll be doing some things differently and adapting as I go. I probably won’t be just like your last designer ‘cause after 22 years in the business I’ve learned what works and doesn’t work for me. I may not be the best fit for you. I may not accept all the projects that come my way.
But know this, if I take on your project, it’s because I’m excited about it and about working with YOU and helping to create a space that feels like home to YOU. If magazine worthy is the goal, I can do that; I’ve done it plenty of times. But if your goal is something totally different and involves kids and messes or respite and empty nests, I’d be honored to help with that as well!
Small projects welcome and hourly rates available. No pressure to hire all my people (I don’t really even have them anymore!) or buy through my links.
I will take on some basic consults too if you’re just looking for ideas to get started or someone to brainstorm with for a few hours. Long story short, if you’re looking for some updates this year, let’s chat and see if we fit. Sound good?!
