First day of our camping trip Sunday June 14th.
Photo of our vintage touring bikes waiting to go up the hill.
We always go to the thrift store at the dump on Lopez, TIOLI.
Last year, I found a glassy baby votive.
This year, I found this cute Couric tray and glass mug from the Spokane 1974 expo. I also pick up books for the little free library at the campground helping Christian restock.
When I got back to the camp site, I flipped the dish over.
Its from Western Airlines (now long defunct)

I supported a local seller, Hood Canal Vintage & Design by Kamkeekoloni and bought this beautiful mug.

Another fun find on my treasure hunting weekend.
Seattle space needle restaurant.
I had the opportunity to eat in this spinning dining experience with my guy.
Sadly, it was remodeled and the restaurant removed.
I had a patient, years ago, who was a waitress when the restaurant opened in 1962 during the world's fair. She said it was the experience of a lifetime.

Shopping day. I always shop on the Friday of Memorial day on our way to our church retreat in Seabeck Washington.
This beautiful house in Fircrest Washington, outside of Tacoma, had a great basement and was bigger than it looked from the outside!
There was a soldier bottle who had his sword and feather but was smashed off his base. He didn't come home with us.

Vintage meets new.
I bought this several years ago and have used it for many travels, including going to Japan in Sept 2024.
I saw the souvenir patch at an estate sale last year.
Patch is new old stock still on card. A beautiful Goldfinch, the Washington state bird on Rhododendrons.
None for sale, none sold! Mine now.
It's a beautiful part of my travel backpack now. Sewing these patches on is a lost art! It won't fall off like the button might.

I would have picked him up but due to his condition (see the blue circles) and his rehoming cost, I left him behind.
It's been a Tiki kinda life the last few months of my sourcing and collecting life.
