Heading to Cinci today to meet with clients. I can never go there without reminiscing about one of my first projects as Cedar Grove Design. An 8,000 sqft full home restoration, clients who gave all their trust, and a budget that could never be pulled off today- just seven years a later.

There’s something about this shot that never gets old to me. Maybe it’s the hint of modern with the light fixture and a touch of old with the antique water pot. Or it’s the calming neutral palette with a touch of color in the foreground. Contrast doesn’t have to be bold. Sometimes the quiet juxtaposition is just enough.

Does anyone try to match up the song to the picture? Sometimes it’s the sound. Sometimes it’s the name. Today “No Drama” was the fit. A table and seating made for comfort, family, and friends. Laughs, stories, and the casualness of daily life.
