Had a great time at my first art festival! I learned so much, met so many great people, got a little sunburned, and listened to some great music.

The was a perfect festival for my small debut in the art and craft world. I can't wait to show what comes next!

When I started sewing several years ago, it felt like math, but in a good way. A + B = C. Except, it became less simple math and more geometry (my arch nemesis, give me all sorts of algebra all day long...geometry and geometry related things, I Cressida Cowper swoon).

The great news is, while I still fight with my arch nemesis, aka geometry, the results end up pretty decent.

Starting a new pattern for a new creation. Basic outline finished, working on sketching this weekend and hoping it to start making soon.

Side note, this is supposed to be a replica of the best drawing pencils from way back in the day (several decades ago). When I saw this, my husband got me a set for a Christmas gift several years ago. I don't draw, but I love writing with pencils. Now that I'm drawing, patterns, I'm loving trying this out for .
