So the internet tells me accent walls are out. But I still think they have a place in beautifully designed spaces! In this toddler room, we used a removable mural to create a strong focal point around the adorable tent bed, which beautifully frames the bed and adds softness and depth to the room. For spaces where you don’t have a clear focal point or don’t have much architectural interest, this is a great option to create a mood. And from a practical standpoint, this mural is removable for when this toy decides they’re into superheroes instead! What do you think - to accent or not to accent?!

Wondering how to give your historic home a glow up? First cardinal rule - respect the architecture! In this 300 year old beauty in Scarsdale, we kept the original architecture and further enhanced it with new custom built ins in the same style, and woke up the original paneling and mouldings with a fresh cornflower blue palette. We then layered in a mix of modern and traditional pieces for a seamless blend - a great way to infuse our client’s personal aesthetic into the home while still preserving its history! What was before a very serious house is now a fun, approachable home for a family of 5. 🩵

They make the design.” Swipe to see the big picture and the details as they come together in this dreamy primary bedroom remodel.
