Hi friends! Welcome back to the kitchen!❤️
Last week we made sourdough chocolate chip cookies 🍪
We made a big batch to share with the parents, so we ended up with about 36 cookies! If you don’t need that many cut this recipe in half!

Heres how we did it👇🏻

Dry ingredients
1C all purpose flour
2C bread flour (taking out the bread flour will cause a less chewy cookie)
1 TSP salt
1/2 TSP baking soda
1/2 TSP baking powder

Batter #1
1 large egg
1/2C sourdough starter
1 TSP vanilla

Batter #2
8 TBS unsalted butter, !cold!
1/2C brown sugar
1/2C sugar
2C chocolate chips

Mix dry ingredients, set aside
Mix batter #1, set aside
Mix batter #2 minus the chocolate chips until crumbles appear, add in chips
Add in dry ingredients and mix until crumbly
Mix in batter #2 until a dough ball forms
Roll dough into pieces(I use an ice cream scoop to get even cookies), put on a cookie sheet, cover cookies and put in the fridge for 2-24hrs (the longer the better for a better sourdough flavor)
Preheat oven to 375F bake 15-17 mins until the edges are brown and the center is still gooey
Take them off the pan and allow to cool completely! (They will continue to bake on the hot pan)

Make sure to keep GOD #1 in yalls lives! We can’t do life without him🙌🏻
See yall next time❤️

Hi friends!
Welcome to the kitchen!
Hubby wanted a strawberry pie, so I made one!🍓🥧
Here’s how I did it!

•Start by making two pie crusts(Theres a video on how to make it on the page)

•Make some strawberry filling ( I have a video for blueberry filling, just trade out the fruit and it will come out the same)

•Roll out the first crust a touch over a 9in circle and fit it into a pie dish

•Pour filling into dish and smooth out

•Roll out 2nd crust into a rectangle and cut into even strips for the top of the pie

•Decorate top with a lattice design and braid a rope piece to seal the edges

•Brush top with an egg wash

•Put onto a cookie sheet to catch the filling that drips out as it cooks

•Preheat oven to 425F, bake 35-45minutes until golden brown

•Let it chill about an hour before cutting!

That’s all there is to it! Stay tuned for future goodies!

Keep GOD #1 in yalls lives, see yall next time guys❤️
