When we started dreaming up our Spring menu at The Farmer’s Daughter, we found ourselves thinking about the little things that simply feel like spring around here. The smell of fresh dirt. Gravel roads after a rain. Green pastures finally waking back up. And of course… calving season. 🤎
If you grew up anywhere near Hanover or the Little Blue River Valley, you know this time of year carries a certain kind of magic. Long mornings, late nights, checking cattle, and generations of ranching families doing what they’ve always done best.
That’s exactly what inspired our Laue Ranch Latte.
The story behind it starts right here near Hanover, Kansas, when local rancher Les Laue changed the future of his operation after an unexpected setback in 1959. What followed became one of the Midwest’s most respected Charolais programs — built on resilience, innovation, hard work, and deep Kansas roots.
We loved the idea of honoring a story that came from the very same ground we call home.
So we created a drink that feels a little bit like springtime in cattle country ➡️ Salted caramel + butter pecan blended with our signature espresso, topped with whipped cream and cowboy boot sprinkles.
Sweet, bold, cozy, and proudly rooted in the place we’re lucky enough to call home.
Stop by and give it a try!
