Hello Spring and welcoming my new creation for a special client.
This gorgeous madame’s dress is perfect for a Spring day walk. The green silk taffeta dress is adorned by vintage lace appliqué detailing, silk ribbons 🎀 embellish the sleeves. I’ve also added the “Elizabethan ruff” collar, which was popular in the late 16th and early 17th centuries. It is typically made from lace or finely pleated fabric and was worn as a symbol of nobility and fashion during the Elizabethan era. I’ve added a Cameo brooch to the collar to give it yet another detail, these were popular during the Victorian and Georgian eras but have roots in ancient Greece and Rome.
