I‘m prepping for a fresh start for McCreations which means clearing out ALL existing inventory.

Some pieces are in perfect condition, others have a few blemishes either due to the learning process of curing paints or improper long term storage. Assortment of sizes from as small as 3x3in to 12x12in.

Due to the potential for flaws on each piece they will be sold as is under a “name your price” agreement. Shipping within the US costs $10. Payment required before shipment. Cash, Cashapp or Venmo is preferred due to security issues with Paypal.

We’ve missed being more present on this page and it’s long overdue to reprioritize and jump back into creating. While doing some late spring cleaning we found some beauties who are looking for a new home still!

First up is a lovely 12”x12” square acrylic Dutch pour which I love to call “The heart of Gryffindor”. It’s a wonderful shape shifter depending on how you display it because once you rotate it it’s almost like a new painting! It can go home with you for $50 with free shipping.

Next up is the “Rose Quartz” little 4”x6” acrylic Dutch pour canvas. It’s the perfect accent piece to your wall next to photographs of your loved ones. You can take it home for only $15 with free shipping.

After that is the 16” triangle acrylic spun canvas with black light reactive paint which would look perfect in a darker room to add that pop of color. For only $40 with free shipping it seems like a steal!

The last remaining piece of the “Firey Habanero” series is a 16”x20” acrylic Dutch pour. While overall a darker piece it has a beautiful amount of cells where the brighter colors are making their way to the surface. This hot pepper is only $40 with free shipping.

After that is the tiny but mighty ”Sweet Tooth” with its vibrant cotton candy colors and silver metal flakes done on a 3”x3” acrylic Dutch pour. With your choice of the included easel color, either black or light natural wood, you can add this piece to a bookshelf or desk for only $20 with free shipping.

Similar to the piece above it’s another small but powerful piece done on a 3”x3” canvas with an included easel in either black or light natural wood. This acrylic Dutch pour that reminds me of gun smoke is only $20 with free shipping.

Canvas not your art of choice? No problem here. Next up is a four piece ceramic coaster set with cork backing called “Poppy Paradise”. The variety of styles is what makes this coaster set one of my favorites that I’ve ever made. For $25 with free shipping it can be yours to make a statement on your coffee table.*

Speaking of making a statement, how about the blood splatter set? A favorite among Halloween and Dexter lovers we have another four piece ceramic coaster set and a two piece trivet set. These are the last of the blood splatter series that we have in stock. Both sets have cork backing and the two piece trivet set features an antiquing heat resistant sealant so it’s safe to use for pots and pans. A couple big changes have happened to McCreations that we need to share.

Due to health problems of the creators and the rising costs of supplies we have been left with no other choice besides making McCreations operate on a commission only basis. We’ve been trying to find ways to avoid this which is why we’ve been silent for so long. This change will impact a few things.

Future orders: We will require a 50% non refundable deposit to ensure we are able to get the proper supplies for your order. The remainder will be due before pick up or shipping. Production times may slow down due to this. That is an unfortunate and unavoidable thing that we will have to deal with.

What are we doing with our current inventory?

Great question, I’m glad you asked.
•Some inventory will be donated to The Robert Young Center in honor of pride month to help the counselors/doctors that are allies show that they are a safe space for anyone who comes in.
•Some other inventory is being donated to a raffle fundraiser for Planned Parenthood. We can share more information on that once we get it.
•Any other inventory may be sold here or on the creators personal pages to try to combat the loss of wages since one is unable to work a typical 9-5 job.

We’ve appreciated all of the love and support that we’ve had to date. We will keep creating but on a smaller scale at least until some situations resolve. Thank you all.

Meet the minds behind McCreations!

Most of the time when you read posts, send messages, or get a custom painting it’ll be from me! My name is Taylor and I’ve been artsy for as long as I can remember. I’ve done all sorts of mediums and have displayed works in multiple galleries and art shows. When I’m not being creative I’m a mom to three beautiful girls that inspire me and love to paint with me as well.
Another creator is my fiancé, Michael. Not only does he help with creating his own works but he’s also my spring board for a lot of ideas and encourages me to experiment and helps me brain storm when things don’t go according to plan. He is my go to for most anime inspired creations and is incredibly talented with ink mediums.
There’s also Connie who is my best friend. She will insist she isn’t art savvy but she brings a lot of great ideas to the table and helps me manage this page and other aspects of the business/paperwork side of things. She keeps me motivated and on task when I get too distracted. We volunteer with and run animal related organizations together and love to play Pokémon Go whenever we have spare time.

Any time you get a custom work there’s a good chance that all three of us played a part in it at some point in time. We love what we do and can’t wait to take McCreations to the next level and expand what we are creating.

Some jobs are too big to do alone so we are reaching out to our friends, family, and community for support to help make our business the best it can possibly be! We are still searching for donated and/or discounted supplies to help lessen the financial need but the weather right now is perfect to get this job done so we are doing our best to try to make it happen as soon as possible.

Hey friends!
I’ve been inactive for a while since life got pretty hectic for a bit. I do apologize, but rest assured if you placed a commission order that I did not forget about it. I wanted to do a quick update about a few things.
Firstly, if you didn’t already know McCreations was created in October 2020 as a way for me to earn money while being a stay at home mom. A few things have changed and I’ve had to alter the way I do things quite a few times as I learn and grow as an artist to keep things as high quality as possible while also keeping my main goal in mind which is to have beautiful art available at affordable prices. I have big goals for the future of MCDS which include hosting classes, having more guest artists, and expanding the mediums I’m using so that way I’m not limited to just paintings and home decor.
Which leads me to my next point. My art studio is currently in my garage and has worked quite well for the past year except for when the weather is at its extremes and frequently changing like it loves to do in the Midwest. My studio is not temperature controlled at all and I am trying to get a plan into place to redo the walls and ceiling so I can get it insulated and as temperature controlled as possible. The bitter winter cold and unforgiving summer heat has done a number on my paints and has caused me to lose over $500 in paints and pouring mediums so it is very important to get the studio fixed up so I can continue to create all year round without the risk of paints becoming damaged or paintings not drying correctly. It will take me a while to get the funds to be able to do this but I still wanted to give a heads up because I will have to close MCDS for at least two weeks to get the remodel done but I also need to eliminate my current inventory of paintings and decor so that way it’s less to store or be in the way during the remodel so that means some sales are in the near future! I apologize that this has been a lengthy post and I am going to do my best to remain active and keep you all updated from here on out. Thank you all for your support over the past year. It truly means the world to me and my family.
