I was broached recently about possibly making fishing towels and it was suggested I could use the same idea as my hanging towels and hopefully use fishing print fabric. I came across an embroidered hanging towel and adapted that basic shape with a minor adjustment. Picked up some spring links and metal rings (I would have preferred D rings but there weren’t any in stock) and I think it needs just a bit of a tweak. It was suggested to use snaps but after they looked at the one I did up it was decided to go with the hardware instead, so I have removed the snap on that one and replaced it.
It was also suggested that I should make some for purchase at the Farmers Market. The next market will be on the 27th and all proceeds from that day will go to my niece Vanessa, as she and her 3 young children lost their home in a fire last night.

One of the Strawberry cake table centerpieces I created for tomorrow’s Senior luncheon at the Hinsdale Community Center. I’m pretty sure both my Mom and my Dad would be impressed as strawberries were a big part of our lives when I was growing up, so I’m definitely proud to be able to honor them by sharing these🪡🧵
