This beautiful slab of old-growth redwood made its way into my shop today—and it’s truly something special.
The figure is incredible, the shape is wild, and the character is unlike anything I’ve worked with before. What makes it even better is the story behind it… this piece was salvaged from the California wildfires, and you can still see some of the charring on the back.
There’s something pretty powerful about giving new life to a piece of wood with that kind of history. What would you like to see it become?

Another river table coming to life 🌊🪵
This one’s getting a little extra character. Natural live edges paired with a stone-filled epoxy river for a clean but organic look. Every project starts as raw material and slowly turns into something completely one-of-a-kind.

At first glance, this one might look like my typical work… but spoiler alert: this project is going to be something truly unique. Stay tuned.

Picked up these wicked Burl slabs today. One of those things, you just gotta have it but you’re not really sure yet what you’re gonna do with it. What would you like to see done?

After a long wait, this cherry desk is finally complete, and I couldn’t be more excited about how it turned out. This was actually the very first slab of wood I ever purchased, which makes this project especially meaningful to finally see finished.
The monitor stand features a waterfall edge, easily my favorite detail of the entire build. The natural character of the cherry really came alive with the finish, highlighting every grain line and imperfection that makes the piece unique.

Hi everyone! It’s been a few days since I posted. I have some projects I will be rolling out over the next couple days that I’m very excited to share. But today is a special day…
The wood in this project is very special. It’s mahogany. But not just any mahogany. Mahogany that was sourced from the beams of a very old church roughly 120 years ago in St. Croix, USVI. I can only imagine how old the tree actually is.
It was carefully milled and the bookmatch design came from my father. This is actually his project, and he’s entrusted me to do the epoxy work. It’s quite an honor.
This project is not just a simple piece of wood, it’s a piece of history. It’s blessed. It has a story.

As long as we’re downstairs, waiting out this storm the Midwest is getting, may as well do a fun little epoxy pour.
