New blanket I made. I need with my left hand so it's not even stitching, fabric isn't tight, but for my first time left handed seeing something for someone else it is good. I have a medical condition with my right arm, I cannot always feel my arm, hand or fingers. And most time when I can it lasts all of ten seconds before my hand goes cold and numb and tingling when I am using my hand. Insurance doesn't cover anything and we'll not much I can say since it happened 6 years ago at work and welp let's just say I got screwed over and now there's nothing I can do. I even had to stop seeing doctors because they all left the state and area and again insurance is no help and we don't have the money for doctors visits. So me sewing and crocheting is my therapy, me trying to use my arm and hand in a way that can't hurt anyone. It doesn't work a lot and takes me a very long time to get through things. I was told I have frozen shoulder and CRPS type 2(Complete Radial Pain Syndrome nerve damage they can't find but know it's there because of the coldness in my arm and hand after only seconds of using my arm). Life's a b***h and I do my best with it and raising my family and dealing with my husband and all. I make these blankets, crochet blankets and turtles (turtles are my favorite to make and easy for both of my hands) and a cross between a squirrel, cat and koala, just something to keep my hands busy and trying to help my arm. I sell these things on Tedooo or just to people in my area or give them away to friends and family for gifts. It's fun and all hand sewn too because my hand held sewing machine my mum bought me broke, and I struggled keeping the tension(which it was the tensioner that broke) proper, and I don't have a bigger machine. So it's all by hand and stitching may be funky but it works and I love it.
