Today one of my granddaughters handed me a
drawing she'd made just for
me.

The first thing I noticed wasn't
my smile.

It was wasn't my eyes.

It was the little bun she drew
on top of my head.

It was exactly where I were my
hair every day.

I smiled because, out of
everything she could have
remembered about me...

That's what she chose.

Children have a beautiful way
of noticing the little things.

I think we adults could learn a
lot from them.
