Back 20 or so years ago, Marti made a lot of jewelry from ceramics, and a few people still may have a random piece in their collection. Her ceramics work went a different direction at some point along the way, but a recent interest in surface decoration led her back.

Opening Market! June 20!
Part of a market business is making sure you have all your market supplies. Over the winter, we raided and added packing materials from our supply, with all manner of junk landing in the bags, tote. Marti gets to organize it ahead of market start day. Organizing is Marti’s 📝 thing.

Save the date! We will again be in the which opens on June 20 (57 days from now).
We have been busy this winter. Not all of it pottery. We’re sure you understand.
We do have some cool new things coming, and some refinement of old favorites. We promise to be ready opening market day!

We’re here. We’re ok.
We are Minnesotans.
The past weeks have brought upon us things we’ve never experienced.
Because we were raised by loving moms who taught us to care about neighbors, we have been doing things we cannot and will not announce. Trust us. Our time away from the wheel helps our beloveds whom POTUS punishes for being whom they are. We resist, yesterday today and the foreseeable. Rebel loons, Minnesota strong.
Love your neighbor. Do not obey in advance. Be like Minnesota.
If politics and art makes you feel negatively toward us, we wish you well as you unfollow.

So fun to be featured on the Minnetonka Center for the Arts page. Bob’s bowl is yellow and rust colored with the geometric pattern. Marti’s very tiny vase is the close up. Trees made by other friends and colleagues at the studio. Eternally thankful for the wisdom, patience and skill of our studio manager, the “firing maven”, Lee. She and the studio assistants are essential to our exploration and learning.
