From sketch to finished design! I fully embrace the messiness of a sketch, it’s a malleable, evolving idea and with a little elbow grease… the layers upon layers of added information can be processed down to something quite charming.

Some days you go to sketch and it just ain’t happening. Some days the creativity is a creature of its own… so today is a break day from ten days of sketch prompts, and instead I offer up a future sticker design. Slowly we are building up our portfolio to have a fun collection with which to make stickers, banners, prints and other fun things in the future.

Hey, you there! I want your drawing prompt idea!

Hi! Liena here, I’m alive! I hope that those of you who wanted to got a chance to see the Auroras last night, we may have another chance tonight! Forgive the radio silence, life has been full in all of the best stressful and happy ways lately but I am eager to get back with my sketchbook. I want to challenge myself to 10 days of drawing prompts! What do you want to see me draw? After the ten days I will pick my favorites to render and color!

She is the moon. I am human and at the end of the day I am an expressive artist, so I tend to choose poses that I identify with. These poses tend to be what I think (read: I hope) I look like when lost in thought, when tending shadows and slaying demons.
