Happy May from Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs! I kicked off this month by shutting down shop and accompanying my hubby on a mediterranean cruise around Italy! We hit Venice, then Spilt and Dubrovnik in Croatia, sailed around the boot through the Messina Strait, stopped by Naples and Pompei, and landed in Rome! It truly was a trip of a lifetime! I was moved to tears throughout my travels as beauty was around me at all times. There was this balance of color, the old, and the new. There were aromas from carefully prepared food and wine to sweet smelling jasmine welcoming you around every corner as we explored the tiny cobblestoned streets and alleyways of these ancient cities. I was overtaken by the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city life…full of travelers from around the world wanting a glimpse of what was and still is and full of locals eager to share their pride and joy of their way of life. And yet, through the hustle and bustle, I experienced, almost in unison, the quiet stillness of reflection within the walls of the many churches, basilicas, and museums that we entered into and in awe of what a man’s own hands could create. I experienced a euphoria throughout this trip that could only be credited to our Creator! What a wonderful world we get to live in and experience!
So, what’s next!?! Well, I’ll be prepping and preparing for my daughter’s wedding this next week and then resuming with clients in June! I am almost completed with a huge project that I have been working on since November 2025. Pics will be coming pretty soon!
