Happy September from Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs! I posted last month some pics of my hydrangeas and about how much we have enjoyed them in our gardens this summer! Well, they keep on sending love! This time of year, you get to cut them and bring them in to dry! I have made beautiful dried hydrangea arrangements and placed them all around our home! The perfect transition between summer☀️and fall🍁! Anyway, August was a busy month for Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs! I successfully staged 4 homes to hit the market, and I added two new realtors who will now be using me to prep and ready their new listings! So exciting! I have really come to love staging! I go in, give the client a complete list of how to prepare their specific home for photos, evaluate furniture placement, and do some simple styling with items they already own! I also do on spot color consultations for those needing to repaint before listing! Realtor friends, clients LOVE this!!! I can’t tell you how many times clients have told me…wow, I love what you did just using things I already owned! Or, man, I should have had you come years ago! I’ve even had clients tell me that it looked so good they didn’t want to leave!😬 Don’t worry realtors…I quickly offer to come to their new home and work in their existing decor there!😂 All of this has made me re-evaluate some of the services that I offer and realize how much power is in a simple consultation! So much can be done in just a simple two hour session…I give you ideas, work with what you have, and provide you a list of what to buy! Good Morning from Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs! Well, it’s never easy to help your parent make the decision to move into assisted living, but when faced with certain circumstances, this is exactly what our family had to do these last two weeks! To say it’s been a whirlwind is an understatement! The Goal: close down my mother’s current home to get it market ready and prepare her new home to be the CUTEST little assisted living apartment anyone has ever seen…ALL IN TWO WEEKS! Once the decision was made, our family quickly got to work closing down my mother’s home. Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs jumped into high gear! While working one room at time, we concentrated on making piles of keep, donate, and trash. As things were boxed and bagged up, family members helped remove the donations and trash promptly which really helped to see progress being made. At the same time, I got to work picking out paint colors for her new apartment, deciding which furniture pieces would make the move, and making online purchases to fill in the missing items! Online ordering paired with some trips to Home Goods got the job done! The Result: her townhome hitting the market this week and a very happy mother with the CUTEST little assisted living apartment anyone has ever seen! My whole life, my mother has been such an inspiration to me! She has embraced every season of her life with such grace and trust in the Lord! This season is no different! I am incredibly proud of her for her courage to make this move and to have such a positive outlook! She is looking forward to welcoming family and friends into her new beautiful home…which is already happening! She told me yesterday, as I was leaving, “Cindy, I never expected my new place to be so nice!” My reply, “Mom, I would never let it be less than what you expected!” So with no further ado, Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs presents the CUTEST little assisted living apartment anyone has ever seen!💕

Happy June from Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs! Well, since May was filled with travels and my daughter’s wedding, June has been a month of RECOVERY! A month that has been spent relaxing in our Award Winning Backyard!🤣 Our yard was featured in the Cane Island Stroll Magazine as Yard of the Month! I can’t begin to tell you what a refuge this backyard has been! Is it work? Yes! Do we love the time and energy we put into it? Yes! Do we spend time in it every single day? YES!!! It’s the first place we go when we pour that first cup of coffee in the morning to watch the sun rise and spend time in prayer! It’s the place we retreat to mid day to get that burst of Vitamin D and a couple of shots in on the putting green, and it’s where we gather at the day’s end to simply talk, listen to music, and watch the sun go down around the fire pit! It’s not just a place that we spiffy up when guests are coming. It’s a place that we treat ourselves to each and every day! It’s our retreat, our peace, and our connection to some of God’s most beautiful creations! My 90 year old mother just recently came to visit and said she felt like she was at a resort and may never want to leave!🤣 My response…stay as long as you would like, Mom!
Ok, well, I haven’t only just hung out in the backyard this month! I am still waiting for a couple of furniture pieces to be delivered to the home I have been working on all this year! THEN…I can take reveal photos!!! I have also staged 5 homes so far this month and preparing to start a full home decor project on a 6500 square foot home where every room will get a makeover!!! Really excited about the color palette!!!

Happy May from Cindy’s Grace Filled Designs! I kicked off this month by shutting down shop and accompanying my hubby on a mediterranean cruise around Italy! We hit Venice, then Spilt and Dubrovnik in Croatia, sailed around the boot through the Messina Strait, stopped by Naples and Pompei, and landed in Rome! It truly was a trip of a lifetime! I was moved to tears throughout my travels as beauty was around me at all times. There was this balance of color, the old, and the new. There were aromas from carefully prepared food and wine to sweet smelling jasmine welcoming you around every corner as we explored the tiny cobblestoned streets and alleyways of these ancient cities. I was overtaken by the hustle and bustle of the vibrant city life…full of travelers from around the world wanting a glimpse of what was and still is and full of locals eager to share their pride and joy of their way of life. And yet, through the hustle and bustle, I experienced, almost in unison, the quiet stillness of reflection within the walls of the many churches, basilicas, and museums that we entered into and in awe of what a man’s own hands could create. I experienced a euphoria throughout this trip that could only be credited to our Creator! What a wonderful world we get to live in and experience!
So, what’s next!?! Well, I’ll be prepping and preparing for my daughter’s wedding this next week and then resuming with clients in June! I am almost completed with a huge project that I have been working on since November 2025. Pics will be coming pretty soon!
