Join us for our last sale before the holidays this Saturday at the studio!
I’ll have a selection of my larger Sacred Stone sculptures, along with planters, vases, plates, and Worry Stones.

We’ll also be joined by:
🧶 — ceramics & crochet
👕 — t-shirts

And yes… the usual mimosas will be flowing to get us into the holiday spirit 🥂

Mini Sacred Stones- glaze tests with different clays, low and mid range. So much goes into testing- sometimes it drives me crazy but then you end up with one you REALLY like and you have to do more… which one do you like best?
They’re all on view at my show on until November 17th.

Sacred Stones features new ceramic sculptures by Carole Smith inspired by Minoan sacred stones discovered at the archaeological site of Gournia on Crete and the artist’s longing for her Scottish homeland. The works result from a transformative experience Smith had at the Mudhouse Artist Residency in Greece in the summer of 2023, which led her to experiment with new forms.

I am excited to announce that I have a show coming up at Galveston Arts Center.
It’s called Sacred Stones and will show off the body of work I’ve been making for the last year.
Opening night is August 24th and the show is up until November.
