This one was a little extra special. ❤️

I pour love, blood, sweat, tears… and occasionally a few cuss words 😅… into every quilt I make, but this T-shirt quilt for my great-nephew definitely got a little extra attention and love along the way.

Truthfully though, every single quilt that leaves my sewing room gets cared for like it belongs to family. Your memories, your loved ones’ shirts, your stories — I never take that lightly. I want every customer to know their quilt is stitched with a whole lot of care, attention, and heart.

But getting to make one for my own family? Well… this one tugged at my heart a little extra. 🧵❤️
Congratulations, James Rubino!

Some quilts carry more than fabric and thread… they carry memories. 💕

The large floral squares in this quilt were carefully cut from my customer’s mother of the bride dress — the dress she wore on her daughter’s wedding day. She wanted to transform something so meaningful into a special keepsake for her granddaughter, something she could hold onto and treasure for years to come.

This is the result… a quilt stitched with love, family history, and generations of memories. 💗

I truly hope she loves it as much as I loved creating it.
