So excited to share my most unhinged DIY project to date…a giant shell mirror for my daughters bathroom. It took me longer to figure out how to anchor my phone to the ceiling for the time‑lapse than it did to glue all the big scallop shells down. Pro tip - just use duct tape.

Not an ad—just genuine love for ! They make ‘rug tiles,’ and we’re big fans for a few reasons. You can design any pattern in any color combination, which is such a fun way to bring personality into a room. You choose the layout, order the pieces, and assemble it yourself—so you get a custom look without the custom price tag. Plus, they’re wonderfully forgiving: if one square gets stained, you can simply remove it to clean or replace.

We previously shared a reel about the custom rug in this primary suite, but there are so many elements in this bedroom that we’re proud of.

We used three different paint colors—one for the walls, another for the ceiling, and a third for the trim. British interiors often draw from heritage palettes, and we loved using warm neutrals to create a cozy foundation to build upon.

The hero piece is a custom plinth bench at the foot of the bed, wrapped in Mount Edo tapestry from . The client loved this material, so we made sure it held a prominent place in the room.

Install Day is a whirlwind, but it’s where so much of the magic happens.

It’s the crescendo of the design process. The magic is in the quiet choreography of the details: the perfectly placed object, the throw that softens the edge, the angle of the chair that invites conversation. Function and feeling must coexist, and that balance is hard-won. It takes a lot of effort to make a home feel effortless and we are so grateful when clients give us the freedom to make it happen.
