Colorful Colorado!
We’ve had a blast shopping for y’all (and a little play time too) but it’s almost time to come home!
The van is full of treasures and we miss the shop and our cool customers!
OPEN TOMORROW AT NOON then regular hours for the rest of the week (10-5 Thursday to Sunday)
Getting everything in and priced takes a little time , so be patient😎

People ask, “Why are you listed as a hardware store?”
“Mallott’s Hardware and Variety” was the name of my father’s store just next door to where we are now.
From 1951 to 1997 he sold EVERYTHING….nuts, bolts, hammers and tools, blue jeans, boots ,cast iron cookware and Pl***oy Magazine.
He had it all!
The grandparents had the grocery store, just across the street at 119 Main.
Look how much Hamburger meat was in about 1956!
When I opened our shop I wanted to honor my family’s history in OTS so I kept the name…
And we’ve definitely got the “Variety” part of the name covered!😀

Ammolite is the opalized shell of an extinct cephalopod , about 70mill years old!
The opalization is extraordinary!
