Wednesday Wisdom 💡| Will it fit...or will it actually work?
There's a lot more to determining the right size for a conference table than measuring the length and width of a room.
During this consultation, we walked through the space with our client, mapped out the table footprint, pulled a chair into position, checked clearance behind them, made sure the double doors remained accessible, and even considered the distance between the primary seat and the TV screen.
Because a table can technically fit in a room and still be completely wrong for the space.
People need to be able to sit comfortably, push their chairs back, walk behind one another, get through the doors, see the screen, and actually use the room the way it was intended.
That's an important part of the custom process that doesn't always make it into the finished photos.
Custom isn't just choosing a size, wood species, finish, and base from a catalog or drop down menu. It's figuring out what actually works, and why, before anything actually gets built.
