For Holman Automotive, color wasnโ€™t treated as an accent; ๐ข๐ญ ๐›๐ž๐œ๐š๐ฆ๐ž ๐ฉ๐š๐ซ๐ญ ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐š๐ซ๐œ๐ก๐ข๐ญ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž and the energy of the workplace. Bold blues, vibrant greens, unexpected oranges, graphic patterns, and layered textures come together to create an environment that feels creative, energetic, and anything but corporate.

From the geometric flooring and colorful glass to the statement walls and playful furnishings, every element was an opportunity to have a little fun. The result is a workplace that feels aliveโ€”a space designed to spark ideas, encourage collaboration, and reflect the creative personalities of the people who use it every day.
Because sometimes, more color really is more.

Designed by JML Design LLC, the Holman Automotive workplace pushed creative boundaries through an unapologetic use of color, texture, pattern, and unexpected finishes. No idea was off limitsโ€”๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ ๐จ๐š๐ฅ ๐ฐ๐š๐ฌ ๐ญ๐จ ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ž ๐š๐ง ๐ž๐ง๐ž๐ซ๐ ๐ž๐ญ๐ข๐œ ๐ž๐ง๐ฏ๐ข๐ซ๐จ๐ง๐ฆ๐ž๐ง๐ญ ๐ญ๐ก๐š๐ญ ๐ซ๐ž๐Ÿ๐ฅ๐ž๐œ๐ญ๐ž๐ ๐ญ๐ก๐ž ๐ฉ๐ž๐ซ๐ฌ๐จ๐ง๐š๐ฅ๐ข๐ญ๐ฒ, ๐ข๐ง๐ง๐จ๐ฏ๐š๐ญ๐ข๐จ๐ง, ๐š๐ง๐ ๐ž๐ฏ๐จ๐ฅ๐ฏ๐ข๐ง๐  ๐œ๐ฎ๐ฅ๐ญ๐ฎ๐ซ๐ž ๐จ๐Ÿ ๐‡๐จ๐ฅ๐ฆ๐š๐งโ€™๐ฌ ๐œ๐ซ๐ž๐š๐ญ๐ข๐ฏ๐ž ๐ญ๐ž๐š๐ฆ.
At the heart of the design, a new second-floor mezzanine and sculptural spiral staircase transformed the workplace both visually and functionally. The elevated level gives the creative team a unique vantage point overlooking the activity below, reinforcing a sense of connection, collaboration, and shared energy throughout the office.

Bold geometric flooring, vibrant architectural accents, transparent meeting spaces, and playful gathering areas come together in a workplace that encourages people to create, connect, and think differently. This project became an opportunity to move beyond the expected corporate office and design a space where creativityโ€”and the culture surrounding itโ€”could truly flourish. ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง ๐›๐ฒ ๐‰๐Œ๐‹ ๐ƒ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ ๐ง ๐‹๐‹๐‚

The connection to nature doesnโ€™t stop at the front door. Inside the Dillon Rd. Residence, the Black Hills continue to influence every design decision. Warm wood tones, natural textures, rustic details, and an earthy palette create interiors that feel comfortable, grounded, and intentionally uncomplicated.
Large windows frame the surrounding landscape and fill the home with natural light, while wood trim, reclaimed-inspired finishes, and relaxed furnishings bring the warmth of the outdoors in. The open living spaces were designed for gathering and spending time together, while the bedrooms offer a quieter place to retreat and recharge.
The result is a home that feels rustic without feeling heavy, comfortable without feeling overly casual, and connected to its surroundings without trying too hardโ€”a place made for family, quiet mornings, long conversations, and slowing down.

The year is almost over, so why not end it with something shiny and new?

Our final look at Galaxy Toyota in Eatontown, NJ celebrates a showroom designed to make the car-buying experience feel a little less transactional and a lot more comfortable. Bright, open spaces, relaxed customer lounges, and clean, modern finishes create an environment where you can take your time, explore your options, and maybe find the perfect new ride.

Consider this your sign: take the test drive, make the deal, and treat yourself before the year is over. Or decide to hire JML Design LLC for your next project!

Nestled within the natural beauty of the Black Hills, the Dillon Rd. Residence was designed by JML Design LLC as a retreat from the pace of everyday lifeโ€”a place for family connection, quiet reflection, and resetting for what comes next. The goal for this new-construction residence was to create a home that feels as though it belongs to the landscape, blending comfortably into its forested surroundings while embracing the warmth and simplicity of nature.
The covered porch extends the living experience into the landscape, while the interiors offer relaxed, comfortable spaces designed for gathering, unwinding, and taking in the surrounding views. Rather than competing with its setting, the architecture and interiors work together to create a sense of belongingโ€”a home inspired by the forest, grounded in nature, and designed to reconnect with the things that matter most. Wait until you see the inside!
