Let’s talk about one of the quirks of working with 100% natural soy wax! 🌱

If you’ve ever lit one of your favorite hand-poured candles and noticed a little dip or tiny air pocket - don’t panic!
While they might look a little bit annoying, I promise they are completely normal and harmless.

⁉️Here is why they happen:

Unlike paraffin wax, soy wax loves to shrink and shift as it cools and hardens. Because it's free of additives and hardeners, it doesn't always settle with a perfectly smooth top every single time.

0️⃣Zero Impact on 🔥Burn or Smell:

A little surface sinkhole has zero effect on how long your candle lasts, how evenly it burns, or how amazing your favorite scent will fill the room!

The Golden Rule of Candle Care:
Snip✂️Before You Spark! 🔥

Ever notice your candle flame dancing a little too wildly or leaving a dark "mushroom" shape on the wick?
That’s your candle’s way of asking for a haircut! ✂️

Trimming your wick to 1/4 inch before every single light isn’t just about aesthetics—it’s actually pure science.
Here’s why it’s a total game-changer:

1. No More "Soot Happens" 🖤
A long or "mushroomed" wick creates an oversized flame that consumes too much wax too fast. This leads to incomplete combustion, which is what causes that annoying black soot to build up on your beautiful jars.
A trimmed wick keeps the burn clean and your home bright.

2. Slow & Steady Wins the Race 🐢
A shorter wick means a controlled, smaller flame. This slows down the wax consumption, meaning your favorite scent lasts up to 25% longer.
