I've been working on my four-shaft floor loom lately and learning some new techniques. The first towels are from Jodi Ybarra Whimsical Overshot Towels pattern. Next are
Spice Blocks pattern from Weaving Hand Towels Simply by Susan Kesler-Simpson. Still on the loom is Lavender Fields Kitchen Towels pattern by Kate Kilgus .

When I first started weaving I didn't know much about yarn so I bought lots of it on sale then didn't know what to do with it when it came, hence the stash. (These are cotton yarns, we will address the trunk full of wool another day🙄). I took a wander through the bins last week and these towels are the result. I doubled the orange to match the thickness of the multicolor. They are soft and thick...great for a pop of color in a guest bath.

Had a sewing weekend and truthfully I am ready to get back to my looms! Its always a battle between the machine and me. The results:

A basket to help organize

A purse (still need to sew the handles)

A bag from a scarf I wove as a demo for a craft fair

Small bags from leftover woven scraps. They are all bit wonky as the exercise was to practice sewing zippers
