Commercial space for lease in Blue Springs, MO 🔑

KC Floorworx is growing, and our current shop at 620 SW State Route 7 will be available to lease once we move! It's about 4,000 sq ft, with a heated and cooled warehouse and office, plus a mezzanine.

We're buying the building right next door at 610 SW State Route 7, the former Squeaky Clean Car Wash, most recently Monarch Dance. At about 7,400 sq ft, it doubles our size. It gives us a showroom we're proud of and more warehouse room to stock products and prep for larger commercial jobs.

Ripples in carpet usually come from a poor stretch, not bad carpet. We kick it tight along every wall, tuck it clean at the baseboard and corners, then clean up after ourselves. On the other side of the door, the polished concrete is ready for the next trade.

"Always keep the factory edge." When we cut carpet or a transition strip to fit, the factory edge goes on the side you'll see, and the cut end goes where it's hidden. Then the strip is measured, cut, and fastened down so it doesn't shift.

Same basement as yesterday's carpet video. About 1,180 sq ft of polished concrete. The polish is done, and now we burnish. The side we just hit is shining; the far side hasn't been touched yet. It's one of the last steps, and it's a night-and-day difference.

We'd just finished polishing the concrete in this Kansas City basement, and the carpet next to it was already in. The quick way is to run the carpet up against the new floor and call it good. We pulled it back, measured, and laid it back down over the transition so the edge is clean and nothing gets buried.
