Today we brought Ascension home.

After spending the summer at The Mint Museum as part of Gilding the Mint: Transformation, her time on those walls has come to an end.

This piece has been one of the biggest undertakings of my career — more than 300 hours of burning, painting, gilding, and creating something deeply personal. Seeing her hanging in a museum was a moment I’ll never forget.

But Ascension was always about moving forward. About emerging from the fire changed, carrying what came before you without letting it define where you go next.

And now it’s time for her next chapter.

Ascension is officially available and looking for her forever home.

HAPPY INTERNATIONAL CAT DAY!!
We love our cats here at BZ FurFur (clearly), and not gonna lie, I personally love my CatLadyBox. They are my favorite shirts and the stuff is purrrrfection! just wants the box. She knows the box, and she knows they are hers. Frankie didn’t even give me a chance to empty the box before she hopped in and made herself comfy! Guess I’ll have to wait for her to finish her nap or con her into letting me see the rest of the box…
