🌿 I have made the personal and professional decision to leave this social media platform.

Soul-searching (and help from the “Off the Grid” podcast) has made me realize I prefer in-person opportunities to socialize about my life and work, and I prefer to discuss my art through blog and video posts.

Anyone interested in staying updated about my work can join me on Patreon. It’s free to join and easy to follow many artists and creatives of all types there. Whenever I post, you’ll get a blog-style email in your inbox much like a mailing list. I highly recommend it!

I will continue to have a portfolio profile on Instagram, but will no longer be updating that site. All updates about my art will come from Patreon.

In addition, I am working to create a Youtube channel. Currently, it only has one video but if you follow me there, you’ll get notified of updates.

I want to extend my gratitude to everyone who has followed me here, and hope to see you join me on the other platforms listed. I’ll be taking part in three holiday craft fairs in November (!!). More info to come through Patreon (sign up please!).

New endeavor: 1:12 scale dolls for miniature dollhouse makers/collectors. So tiny! The size is a unique challenge.

A belated and immense thank you to everyone who stopped by my tent at the Irvine Studio Art Festival. ♥️ I had such a heart-warming time discussing my work and getting to share the whimsical world that is my art. If you’re new here, welcome! I can’t wait to share more with you all. 🍃

My tree sculpture is ready just in time for the craft show on Saturday! 🌳 I’m sure I’ll be adding more highlights and shadows (and moss?) at a later time, but for now I’m quite happy with how it turned out. The outdoor acrylic paint dried more thick and shiny than I anticipated, but it did give it a sealed solid finish. I wonder if I could spray it with a matte spray to tone down the shine? In any case, my first project with sculpting medium is a success and was a pleasure to work with. 💗

I can’t believe this show is so soon! I’m super excited to be showing some of my sculptures (including new ones!) and having magnet sets, botanical cards, and necklaces for sale. My tent will be over toward the food truck, in front of the Fine Arts Center. Looking forward to chatting about fantasy and the arts! 🧚🏻‍♀️ 🍃

My tree sculpture (to display my sun catchers) using outdoor clay is finally complete and going through its 28 day drying process! This first project was a little nerve-wracking but I think I have my process down. I moved the work to an outdoor table right outside my garage so I can keep the sculpture and materials in the garage and easily move outside to work. I also put the bag of material dust into a plastic container for easier containment and use.

I’m super excited to have this first project under wraps. I’m already dreaming up some more projects… maybe a birdseed feeder or birdbath in art nouveau style?
