October is Personal for Us 💗

Those of you who know us know that we lost my mom — and the girls’ Nana a year ago August — after a courageous 9-year battle with breast cancer. She will forever be a part of who we are and why this cause means so much to our family.

In her memory, Three Hens Vintage will be donating 20% of our profits from our booth sales at Our Third Place- Neighborhood Market and Vintage Vault Jax - Antique Mall during the month of October to the The Breast Cancer Research Foundation. 🎀

The underground economy is neighbors finding good things, passing them along and keeping money close to home. Our vendors source locally and give goods a new life right here in Jacksonville.

During inflation, this train-wreck economy and rising diesel costs, we’re set apart because we don’t have to pass those expenses on to our customers. Our vendors and I have agreed to keep everything as affordable as possible because we know our community. Our neighborhood is made up of working-class families, retirees, first-time homeowners and singles who are all doing their best to survive and make ends meet.

We care about our neighbors, and supporting one another is how we get through difficult times. Call it anti-capitalist capitalism: good finds, fair prices and one less trip to a big-box store. 💙
