There’s a lot that goes into good design and putting a room together — so I thought it would be good to start talking about more of it here!

The decisions that make a room work. The mistakes I see all the time. Where I think it’s worth investing, where you can pull back, and the little details that can completely change how a space comes together.

So along with sharing projects and all the pretty things, I’m going to be sharing more of the practical side of design too — the things I’m thinking about every day as I’m designing homes for my clients.

And I want to know what you’re curious about. If there’s something you’ve always wondered about when it comes to your home or the design process, leave it in the comments. I’d love to add it to the conversation. ⬇️🩵

So excited to be supporting such a special event in our community this Saturday! 🩵

This cause is something that’s personally very close to our hearts, and we are honored to be able to sponsor this weekend’s fundraiser benefiting Ansley’s Room — an incredible local organization supporting families with children in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Wolfson Children’s Hospital.

Ansley’s Room was created in honor of sweet Ansley and provides a dedicated space within the PICU where families can step away for a moment, rest, regroup, and find some of the comforts of home while remaining close to their child. Through the room and the continued support they provide to PICU families, Ansley’s legacy continues to bring comfort, hope, and love to so many. ❤️

Join us Saturday, August 15th at The Hennesy Fitness Method for a 7:30 9:00 AM or 10:30 AM workout, with every dollar raised from the classes going directly to Ansley’s Room.

There will also be some fun Ansley’s Room SWAG including mats, towels, water bottles, plus free coffee & treats from The Kookaburra next door afterward! 🎀☕️

One of our favorite transformations in this cottage home remodel was turning an unused formal dining room into a hardworking butler’s pantry/scullery. Now it’s not only beautiful, but functional too!

Thoughtful renovations like this are some of our favorites because they’re designed around how our clients actually live. 🩵

Every detail of this primary bathroom vanity was intentional.

From the warm Garapa wood to the floating design and custom carved sun detail, every decision was made to create a bespoke piece that feels timeless, functional, and completely unique to our client.
