My archival fine art prints are live!

“Keeper” 18”x12” is scanned - thank you for doing such a lovely job!!!

Part of what has been stopping me from creating art since moving back here to Oregon has been finding a place to get my art scanned and printed. I’m so happy to have found Gango - they were so nice, and they have a beautiful parking lot (I get a little parking anxiety). I do miss my system for getting scans and prints in Philly, but I’m so grateful for this big step forward in finding a wonderful new print shop to work with here in Portland!

In addition to the print, I’ve made the artwork available in my shop as a mousepad (maybe one of these days I’ll give up on turning my art into mouse pads… I just think they’re so fun for anyone who works at a computer and so I can’t give up on them yet!!) and a pillow (anyone have a beach home or a home they wish were by the beach?! This would be perfect!). The original is also listed, if you’re in a position to invest in a big original work.

I’ve only ordered 3 prints this time - If I do sell all three, then I will definitely order some more ☺️

Thank you for all of this support on this piece and beyond! I’m so grateful 💗

I started this drawing 759 days ago; today, I drew in the last pebbles!!!

I had been hoping to finish by Jan 1 and incorporate this into a New Year post, and I was pretty close - Happy 2026!!! I had a friend tell me that she plans to celebrate new years on the spring equinox, when it’s not so dark and rainy, and I loved that idea. Whatever the new year looks like for you: I hope that you’ve had some time this past week to rest, recharge, take care of yourself in this ever-changing and often scary world, and find some things to look forward to this year 💕

I think this will be the last large drawing I do, at least for a while, because finishing one drawing every 2+ years isn’t nearly as fun as finishing lots of small ones. So here’s to a new year full of small projects, feeling inspired, getting outside, and being better about connecting with my communities. One of the highlights of my year was getting back into this drawing this December, and I’m already cooking up some exciting new things, so be on the lookout!

Thank you so much for being so kind and willing to let me purchase the rights to use your beautiful photo as a reference (what was that - 5 years ago now?!) I couldn’t have done this without you! Now I’m busy trying to figure out where I can get a good scan around here…. Swipe to the end to see the finished piece! 🥲

Thanks for being here, and happy new year, friends! 🫶

That’s a wrap on the sky! ☁️

I was just looking through my camera roll, and it turns out I started this piece December 7, 2023. Over two years in the making… and I’m almost finished!!! 🥳

Stickers for all!!!

Wow, everyone’s kind words this week were just so motivating to me as I kick back into gear with my art. I had to let go of my own website earlier this year, but I just gave my Etsy shop a nice revamp. I created an ugly banner and logo for my Etsy shop over 5 years ago when I was just starting, and do you know how it goes when you’re just so used to something, you don’t realize it could be improved? Well, that’s what happened here, but now I’ve changed it up to feel more like me 🥰

Anywho, I’ve made a few more listings on there, most of them reactivating old listings that I’m able to ship out again now that I have a label printer 🥳

And back to what this post was really about: I’ve added some stickers!!! I have a collection of miscellaneous stickers I’ve made over the years that I’d love to clear out a bit before the new year, so I’ve priced them at $2 with free shipping (so it will essentially cover the Etsy fees and shipping costs).

Check them out if you’d like - but regardless, THANK YOU for being here and for the support. I’m filled with so much love and gratitude to be creating again 💕

I have lots and lots of my backyard birds greeting cards left, so I’ve added them back to my shop - and for a bit of pizazz this year, I’m going to paint each card I sell with a wash of my sparkly watercolors to help them sparkle in the light. If you’re looking for a handful of Christmas cards to send out this year, please go check out my Etsy ☺️

I made these cards cards three years ago - they’re some of my first watercolor paintings ever! I was making them for my very first art shows, and I wayyyy overestimated how many I would need 😅 But that’s okay - I’m grateful for every mistake ☺️

Happy December!

Today marks the three-year anniversary of Colors of a Flower! 🥳 Time flies… I’ve learned so much about balancing creativity and productivity, being business-minded, and keeping inspired. But the best thing I’ve gotten out of the last few years is this supportive community - on Insta, TikTok, Facebook, and the people I’ve met in-person all along the way.

One friend I’ve got to thank is , who helped me realize that today marks three years being in the biz. Corey sent this BEAUTIFUL mug, by the talented , to celebrate, and it transports me back to my earlier art days when I was drawing flowers. I’ve included the work-in-progress I’m working on now as well as the tulip drawing that started it all in these slides - thanks for being here!!! Happy Colors of a Flower day 🥲🌸
