Five years ago, this was the bag that started it all. 🤎🍂
I made up an Apple Cinnamon order last night, and as I was putting the little wreath on the bag, it made me stop and think about just how nostalgic this one is for me.
When I first created this mix, I wanted it to feel like fall here in New England. The beautiful fall foliage we get every year—the deep reds, rusty oranges, warm browns and little touches of green—was the inspiration behind the colors and natural pieces in this bag. 🍁 Being from New England, those crisp fall days and changing leaves have always been one of my favorite things, and I wanted to capture a little bit of that feeling.
This was one of the very first potpourri bags I made when I started my shop. At the time, I had no idea that five years later I’d still be here, making potpourri, drying fruit, creating new seasonal mixes, and packing orders for homes all over the country.
So many things in my little shop have changed over the years, but this one still feels like the original.
There’s something really special about making the same bag five years later and remembering exactly where it all began. 🤎
