This one hit different. Kenna & Ledger weren’t just a romance. It was messy, complicated, heartbreaking, and REAL. I kept wondering if I was even getting a happy ending but CoHo knows how to destroy you and heal you all at once. 🥹

Honestly — this is what true second chances look like. It’s not always easy. Sometimes love asks for every ounce of patience, empathy, and forgiveness you have. And this book just nailed it. 🫶

I just finished Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry and… wow. This one hit different.

It felt like assembling a 400-page emotional puzzle - each piece layered with humor, heartbreak, mystery, and meaning. Margaret’s story completely captivated me, and I found myself feeling everything along the way. It’s not quite the Emily Henry I’m used to, but it might just be my favorite yet.

This book explored what it means to live a life shaped by both choice and fate. It reminded me that our stories begin long before we do - and every decision we make has the power to shape our world and the people in it.

🏒🔥 Flames and Fiction: Us Against You 🔥🏒

I just finished Us Against You by Fredrik Backman and… I’m not okay. I mean that in the best, most emotionally wrecked kind of way.

If Beartown cracked my heart open, this sequel picked up the pieces just to shatter them all over again but somehow made it beautiful.

Backman doesn’t just write characters, he builds a whole town around you. By the time you get through this book, you’re not just reading about Beartown - you live there. You feel everything. The grief, the loyalty, the tension, the hope.

This story isn’t just about hockey (even though it is). It’s about what happens when a community breaks and how, through love, pain, loyalty, and heartbreak, it begins to rebuild. It’s about how hate grows in the quiet and how connection is what truly saves us.

There were twists I didn’t see coming, scenes I’ll never forget, and lines I want to frame and hang on my wall.

It’s a brutal, beautiful reminder that nothing about life is simple, but everything about connection matters.

I can’t recommend this series enough. It’s not just fiction - it’s truth, told through the lens of a town that looks a whole lot like home.

✨The final countdown is officially on ✨ — and I honestly don’t even know where to begin.

You all have blown me away with your support since announcing the shop’s closing — not just through orders, but through the kindest, most heartfelt words. I can’t thank you enough for being part of this chapter with me.

Truthfully? It feels a little like grieving.
It’s the end of something I’ve poured my heart into.
And sure, there’s a part of me that has questioned, “Am I making the right decision?” — but deep down, my gut knows this is the next right step.

Live Inspired Company will still exist — in your homes, through the candles you light, and through the impact we’ve created together.
This brand was never just about candles. It was about community. It was about creating something that felt like hope, comfort, strength, and inspiration.

And if I’ve learned anything lately, it’s that you can start, stop, and pause anything in your life whenever you need to.
There are no perfect timelines.

🏒🔥 Flames and Fiction: Beartown 🔥🏒

I just finished Beartown by Fredrik Backman, and let me tell you—this book wrecked me in the best way. If you love small-town drama with major Friday Night Lights energy, buckle up. Beartown is all about hockey, yes, but it’s really about the people, the secrets, and the impossible choices that make (and break) a community.

The writing is stunning, the characters are so real it hurts, and the themes of right, wrong, and the mess in between? Let’s just say, I’ll be thinking about this one for a long time. Coming from a small town myself, some of these moments hit way too close to home—and I mean that in the best, most gut-wrenching way.

For a story with this much heart (and heartbreak), you need a candle with some serious comfort factor. So naturally, I paired it with my Big Wick Energy candle in Vanilla Cake Pop—because sometimes you need a big, cozy scent to handle all the big feelings.

Hey friends! Plot twist: just got home from Texas about four hours later than planned and, frankly, I’m in desperate need of some decompression. Tonight’s agenda? Comfy pants, a glass of American Honey (with a splash of Diet, of course), a good book, and quality time on the patio with the dogs—while Dan gets the car ready for a race weekend.

Rise & High is still ON in the morning (I promise I’ll be semi-conscious), and I’ll be tackling your orders right after, before work. If you placed an order last week, it’s going out tomorrow. 📚✨ Today’s the day, book lovers! The Flames & Fiction collection is officially live — and she’s looking real photogenic thanks to the magic of .photo 📸

This collection was born from a love of twisty plots, late-night reading binges, and candles that make you say, "this smells like 5 stars." I wasn’t going to launch it… but then these photos happened, and how could I not share this art that I feel Hannah and I got to create together?

Ironically, falling back in love with reading — the quiet kind, the cozy kind, the "just one more chapter" kind — is what made me lean harder into slowing down. Less screen time. More intention. Fewer to-do lists. More stories.

So this one’s for the readers. The romantics. The thriller junkies. The ones who know there’s nothing like lighting a candle and cracking open a book. 🕯️📖

📚🕯️ Because why wouldn’t I just launch my final collection the same week I announced I’m closing the shop? 🤪 FLAMES & FICTION is officially (finally) coming to life — because when .photo turns your candles into actual art, you can’t just let them sit on a shelf collecting dust and guilt.

This collection wasn’t going to launch… but then it begged for one final moment in the spotlight before the curtain closes - major thanks to Hannah for inspiring me to launch them regardless!

These will go live TOMORROW (or later tonight because they'll be up when I get some time) and you’ll be able to shop them until the site officially closes on April 30th.
