- Will it Leftover? Turning leftover pork chops into some street tacos.

It’s just the two of us - so we often have leftovers to work through & I love finding ways to make them more interesting. Alec suggested street tacos & we got creative with what we had at the house already. Was it perfect? Nope. Will it leftover? Absolutely.

- big thanks to Jonesboro’s newest Pilates studio, Dear Pilates for letting me come out and try a few classes during their “Crush Week”!

I’ve tried Pilates a few times but it’s not my typical workout style - so getting to try out the mat, chair, and reformer was really neat & was much more of a workout than I expected!

They’re over on Nettleton if you want to try them out. They’ve got lots of packages available (+ childcare if needed!) - I’m told a lot of people are loving their 2x a week package.

- ngl, 100% forgot the Arkansas State University Band Hype Band goes around town the night before home games to hype up Jonesboro!

- red beans & rice ft. Food Co.‘s Louisiana Style Red Beans & Rice

Even with the added veggies, proteins, & seasonings, we kept it under $5 a serving. My math for this dish was around $3.85/person.

& honestly, by bulking it up, we wound up with more than just 5 servings. Can’t wait to try the other flavors! You can purchase from their website, or I saw them on the app as well!

- southern spiced pecans ft. a couple of products made right here in Arkansas! We’re using the ARKANSAS DIAMOND FIRE®️ Ch*****ne Pepper Sauce & WOOO-cest-er-shire sauce from the folks over at supertasterz™️

Also, I’ve yet to try them on salad or ice cream (but I can tell it’d be amazing) - HOWEVER, I have been crushing them up onto a slice of PB toast w/ a drizzle of hot honey & it’s heavenly 🤭😮‍💨

- smoked chicken on the Big Green Egg using some WICKER'S FOODS Peck’s Original Dry Rub 🙌🏼

We’ve been using Wicker’s marinade for years but had no clue they made a dry rub until they reached out recently! It’s made just down the road from us in Hornersville, MO & their dry rub did not disappoint! You can find their dry rub at Hays Grocery Stores or order from their website

Leftover smoked chicken sandwich w/ egg & cheese. The bread was homemade - courtesy of my neighbor Cortney 🫶🏼🍞 plus a little ARKANSAS DIAMOND FIRE®️ hot sauce on the egg 🤌🏼

- more leftover smoked chicken, this time as a burrito w/ egg, cheese, spinach, & salsa verde on a Olé Mexican Foods INC Xrreme Wellness tortilla

- ham, scrambled egg, & cheese on homemade bread

- leftover smoked chicken tacos with cheese, eggs, & sautéed onions & peppers, topped with BUFFALO RIVER SAUCE CO.™️

- ham, egg, cheese, & spinach on homemade bread (in much different lighting because I had to be out the door much earlier than normal on Friday)
