Crafted by Vaughan Design in England, this nest of two tables is striking enough to stand alone. The Mere is defined by its slender height and angular silhouette — gilded metal frames finished with an antiqued mirror top that catches light differently in every room it enters.

At one of my favorite to-the-trade showrooms reviewing a new collection by Le Gracieux …a fabric house preserving centuries-old craftsmanship through environmentally safe hand-printing techniques on h**p and French linens still harvested in the traditional way.

A rendered aircraft interior, however, a very real design philosophy.

With just a handful of compliant materials, I enjoy transforming environments in the air and at sea that are often dominated by gray and beige. Neutral is perfectly acceptable-boring is not! especially when you have an educated eye for color and access to extraordinary materials.

From thoughtful textiles to handcrafted tableware, these details elevate the experience of travel, whether you’re flying or sailing. Design should enhance the journey, not fade into the background.
