**Attention** Katy Rock Shop will literally be fenced in this Saturday and Sunday for the annual Rice Harvest Festival. That means if you want to visit us, the festival will charge you $15 per adult to get into the fence and enter the fair grounds. Parking will be a nightmare also.

Please come TODAY if you aren’t interested in attending the festival this weekend 🙂

Dinosaur Valley State Park is a 3.5 hour drive from Houston and is one of those rare sites that feature hundreds of dinosaur tracks imprinted into an ancient mud. While the park isn’t huge, there are miles of trails you can hike and even camp on! It’s cooling down, go check it out!

🦖💎 We’re looking for some extra help in Katy at the Katy Rock Shop! We are looking for someone who is a energetic people person and, who likes rocks or fossils. While interest in rocks is required, there is no experience necessary. The role is to operate our animatronic dinosaurs, sluice mining machine, and geode cracking station. We are doing on the job training this Saturday October 10th. If you can lift above 50lbs and are interested or know someone who would be a great fit, please send us a DM for details, hours, and pay. 🪨✨
