Featured Friday: Pottery stoneware juicer. Summertime is all about fresh fruit and juicing your citrus! This beautiful Dahlstedt pottery juicer needs to be in your kitchen now. Potters David and Becki Dahlstedt have been making pottery in Mountain View Arkansas for over 40 years, coming to Mountain View via separate paths. David became the resident potter at the Ozark Folk Center in 1978, 6 years before Becki arrived from California where she had a pottery studio in Berkeley. He built the 64 cubic foot gas car kiln which is still being used today. Together they demonstrated pottery at the Folk Center for 12 years before establishing a studio adjacent to their home near downtown Mountain View. Combining their talents, skills, and interests, the Dahlstedts have established a full-time pottery business, producing an extensive line of functional pottery. Dahlstedt pottery is constantly evolving, with varying glaze techniques and contrasting patterns. Come upstairs to the Second Act to see this piece as well as a wide collection of beautiful stoneware pottery!
