Hi everyone! Wanted to reintroduce myself tonight. I’m Crystal, the owner/artist here at Hometown Whimsy. 👋
I’ve been married to my best friend for 23 years this August. I grew up here in Stokes County loving art since I was a small child. Went to college in Florida, met my husband, dropped out of college to get married 😅, followed him around in the Marine Corps, & went back to college in Florida when he got deployed.
And then another deployment came and we relocated back to NC and have been “home” since!
We have 3 kiddos who are amazing. And they too have now been through deployment. They have grown up watching me work from home, working on their homeschooling while I work on orders. ☺️
We continue to be a military family for now as my husband awaits retirement.
I’m so glad you’re here. I hope I get to paint something for you soon!
