A little bit outside of our usual engraving business.
About a year ago my parents reached out to us to make a holder for my dad’s coins. These coins are unique because they puzzle together to make a submarine and each puzzle piece is a boat or command at Kings Bay Naval Base. These coins are also double sided and my dad wanted a good way to display both sides. Gabriel and I put our heads together to come up with a functional, solid display piece.
**When I say Gabriel and I, I mean mostly Gabriel because he has a brain for these sorts of things**
After taking entirely too long to actually create the final product, here it is. We have some ideas to make it better if we get the opportunity to create another one.

Death leaves a heartache no one can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. - Richard Puz

My grandmother loved cardinals and every time I see one I smile and think of her. While she is no longer with us, I am thankful for the time I had with her. This ornament will forever remind me of her love.

So many different options for the photo caption and I don’t know which to choose.

I sent this photo to Gabriel to check if the photo was blurry and his response was “your hair is kind of all over the place.” So there are really two caption options there.
❄️ Anyone elses eyes giving out on them?
❄️ Anyone else just living in a state of disheveledness?

Another option is how much I love the snow, but it is currently 70 degrees and raining in Atlanta. It looks like it will be this way for the next week. I know that December is always a warm month. I tell myself this every year: Georgia doesn’t get cold until January/February. Yet, I am still surprised when it is warm around the holiday times and find myself wanting a white Christmas
❄️ Did you have a white Christmas? If so, do you love or hate it?

I don’t know how people remember to take photos in the moment and of their products they make. I am so worried about shipping the items that I completely forget to take the picture. Oftentimes, we finish the item late at night because this is our second job and there is no light to take a photo. Luckily I have started to find joy in making different items for myself and these items stay in our home so I have all the time to take photos.
