Excited to share that will be the recipient of proceeds from the .
We don't need to tell you much about this amazing organization, except that they plan to build three homes a year going forward 🏘🎉

FIVE days before the opening of our 5th annual !
I created the first design showhouse in the as a mechanism to connect our growing design/build industry for local economic development. It was meant to be a one-time showcase. This year, opens Oct.7-23, working with and our nonprofit recipient , Habitat for Humanity.
Every year, I feel like I'm throwing the biggest house party and I hope people come! Remember that stress? 😁
I'm channeling my recent trip to Antigua to lower my stress (photo 1) since my happy place as a Caribbean girl is the beach.

Building our addition 🚧Our side porch-turned-mudroom is getting insulated but originally wasn't going to be heated. Then I saw these amazing windows and door and asked Fred if we could. He replied, 'The genius that I am already planned for that because I knew you'd ask' 😉

Building our addition 🚧
I've been most excited about turning our side porch into a mudroom.
The first step was to raise the porch roof to match that of the addition (photos 1-4). Then, we're enclosing the mudroom with five glass doors Fred cut down and turned into windows over six feet high (photo 6, doors waiting to be cut and trimmed).
I'll design benches to sit at the height of the knee wall (photo 5) and select flooring, lighting, paint, and all the fun stuff 🤗
