I really struggle to post daily. With i work on the same piece day in and day out which would make for quite a boring feed! But today i am posting days 6-8.

Reducing Waste: pretty much all of my fabric is recycled. Whether its old sheets, clothes, or towels. Essentially if i can on it, it is no longer safe! Pictured above is my reuse drawer of goodies

You: I work from home as a freelancer which gives me the time and flexibility to be able to create almost every day. I am extremely lucky to be able to do what I love everyday!

Which leads into Love to Make! For me I love to work on abstract, whether in or . I love exploring and whenever possible. I also love space so anytime i can incorporate space themed into my work I do!

So i am challenging myself to complete . I really need to get better at posting and growing our page! So the first three prompts are Story, Hands, and Time:
My mother and i have been creative all our lives but its really been over the past couple of years that we have really started our art journey. We love experimenting with new mediums everyday. From , , , and many other forms of textiles. We are both open to selling our art but struggle with the business side of things (as is typical with us creatives).

Our hands are our greatest tools. They hold our , , , and our . I can't imagine what my life would be like if i didnt have the ability to create.

Time. Well this one is easy, there is never enough of it am I right?

Panel two of the mystery project! No gold work on this one but i am hand stitching each part. This project is going to serve as a representation of where i am in my hand sewing skills and techniques. Do you ever do a project just to prove to yourself how much you've grown?

Wanted to do a back picture sneak peak before sharing the final product! Plus this shows how i finish my pieces. Im very OCD about the tension so I go a bit overboard. Stay tuned for the final product!

Completed my first today! It started as a watercolor practice and learning page but i really loved the background and decided to take it a step further! Thank you for all your tutorials and inspiration!

Made a for my grandmother's 80th birthday! So proud of how this project came out! Keep an eye out for my next one which will be halloween puzzle pieces! We are also going to be sealing a bunch of pieces this month so we will be getting the etsy store updated soon!

So excited to share my newest art adventure! This is my first experience with 3D Mixed Media and i had a blast making this piece. Other than the pendant everything that is on this canvas are broken pieces and pieces of other items that i disassembled while organizing my approved mixed media boxes! Im going to be submitting this for for Inspiration piece! The meaning behind it is that we allow others to define our stories and in turn define who we are. I used the quote untold stories because my art story up to this point has been untold. I am making a move to start telling my own story and to define myself and my art instead of allowing others to do it for me!
