In my Hotel room in Hong Kong, the toilet came complete with these securely held, plastic coated wire rope hoops. What are they ?? Banana carrier ? Somewhere to hang the baby whilst carrying out one's duty ??? Safety anchor for the plumber?? I need to know, help !!! Size 9, XL, no bananas available, anyway, it would be unhygienic!!!

Right then, at work, we’ve got this table of drinks. It’s a sort of self-service refreshment station, if you will, and today, it fell to me to do the restocking. Now, before anyone points it out, yes, the arrangement is a bit wonky. But it’s been a long day, and frankly, I couldn’t care less about symmetry at this point.
Anyway, this got me pondering something rather important: which of these beverages will be the first to run out? Here’s what we’re working with:
Proper Coca-Cola (the real deal).
Coke Zero (the one without the sugar).
Fanta Zero Sugar (an orange fizzy drink trying very hard).
Diet Coke (self-explanatory).
Smart Water (for the hydration purists).
Sprite (the low-calorie version).
Sprite Zero Sugar (for those who enjoy lemon-lime vapour).
Now, there’s a vital footnote here: the water isn’t just for drinking—it also gets pressed into service for the kettle. This is, of course, for making tea and coffee, because we’re British, and if tea doesn’t flow, society collapses.
So, what do we think? Which drink will be the first to disappear into the void?

As I picked these burs off my jacket and was dull-ley pondering how burs even manage to stick to your skin I found this little guy. What a horribly non dull way to go! No banana for scale as my kids eat them all but size is roughly 1/10 of a banana

So as I sit here eating my nuggies, I wonder if anyone else is like this.
For as long as I can remember eating chimken nuggies, when opening the sauce cup, I tear the top off, lick it, and stick it to the lid. It's also struck me I do this with just about any fast food sauce cup. It's a methodical process that I do without thinking. (Except for this moment explaining to the hive mind..) Does anyone else participate in this dull behavior? An enquiring mind would like to know. No banana for scale, as I have purchased these tasty morsels instead.

As Halloween approaches, let's talk Smarties for a second. In Canada (and I believe the UK, but I'm sure I'll be corrected shortly if not) they are Nestle chocolate versions of M&Ms.
In the USA, they're.... not chocolate. They're "tablet candy" that would be called "rockets" on this side of the border.
As a Canadian near the border, I go across the line to get American candy at Halloween to give the kids something different. I thought about getting some amerikanski "Smarties" in Bellingham to really share the horrors of the season....... only to find irony on the bag.
