What happens when you give up on a dream? Something you truly believed, was gonna be generational changing for your family? And your hopes and dreams are crushed at a stage in life that you just do not have the energy to come back from ?
When politics and inflation destroy everything you broke your back to create for the last 13 years or longer? When both parties, crush your soul, just one right after the other?
I'm gonna tell you what you do. You do the only thing you can. You fight as hard as you can against a corrupt system that taxes you and drives you into the ground as long as you can. And when you see it's just impossible to survive. You do what you can to provide for those who've stood by you, through thick and thin. You give them everything you can, as you try to exit the mess. And if you can you set aside just enough for yourself to try and start over again.
And make no mistake. The government will try and take every single penny from you. I believe they want us to be destitute and on our backs, looking for a homeless shelter. And many of us, wind up, exactly there.
I want everyone to know this. I fought every way I could. I borrowed money I should not have, just to pay people I loved and cared for. I dug in and fought, scraped and clawed for 5.5 years. And I never once let a client down. And now they are coming out of the woodwork, worried that I am not gonna build what they ordered because I closed the store.
STOP right there. I've about answered the last phone call like that I'm gonna take. Don't you dare ask me "what about my order". I'm done with that too. While I love you and care about you, I am gonna say this. I am not a perfect man . Far, far from it. But I have never , ever stiffed a customer in all my years of doing this. I may have shut the store down. But your order will be finished. But don't call me questioning me. I've had enough. I'm at the end of my rope.You will not be answered until I'm done with your order. So save yourself the time and anguish of calling.
Is that mean and harsh? Maybe so, but guess what? This old man has been pushed as much as he's gonna be. By the government, the public, family and friends. Relax, sit back and let us finish what we started. And allow me to move gracefully onto my next chapter.
