So here's the thing... (A little note from behind the scenes) 👇
I love when y’all bring me your ideas—using ai is an awesome tool for inspiration! I have embraced ai to help with my workflow, but not as a replacement. It's another tool in the workshop.
BUT… most AI-generated images are not print-ready.
What that means in plain terms:
• They’re usually low resolution (blurry or pixelated when enlarged)
• Edges aren’t clean or sharp enough for engraving or printing
• Colors and layers aren’t separated for production
• Small details can get lost or distorted when transferred to shirts, wood, or metal
So before I can turn your design into something that looks crisp and professional, I often have to:
• Clean up rough edges
• Rebuild parts of the design
• Convert it into a high-quality, scalable format
• Adjust sizing, spacing, and line thickness
Basically… it’s a little more “design work” than it looks like at first glance.
I’ve been doing this cleanup behind the scenes to help folks out, but going forward, more complex edits may include a small design fee depending on the work involved. I use several programs to get them cleaned up (ie: Procreate, Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop).
If you’re not sure whether your file is print-ready, no worries at all—just send it over and I’ll take a look!
I’m always happy to help bring your ideas to life.
