One of the best parts of a project is getting to come back after everything is finished and see the space actually being used.

The cabinets looked great when we wrapped up our part, but seeing the countertops, appliances, decorations, and everything else in place really brings the whole kitchen together.

Really happy with how this one turned out!

The alarm clock was only part of the plan. 👀

Remote mode lets you cycle through the other holograms whenever you want — because one Star Wars hologram was obviously never going to be enough.

This one got a little out of hand. 😂

What started as an idea to build my son a Star Wars-inspired alarm clock somehow turned into a touchscreen, custom programming, sound effects, a hologram display, 3D printing, wiring, and plenty of trial and error.

It’s definitely not the usual kind of project that comes out of the shop, but figuring out how to make all of it work together was half the fun.

And somehow… it actually works and wakes him up for school. 😂
