🎶 Custom Project Alert 🎸

Pour Man’s Epoxy wants to thank a very special, “honorary” employee. A guy who is always willing to lend a helping hand to haul a table or move things around in the shop, and is always spreading the word about our products to support Pour Man’s Epoxy. Thank you, Brett Gervais!

To show our appreciation, I created a custom electric guitar for Brett for Christmas this year. 🎸 Burning the wood created a unique “electric” look that I was then able to fill in with blue pigmented epoxy before assembling, and finishing the guitar. (And yes, it works!)

Russian Olive Wood Dining Room Epoxy Table

Just delivered this beautiful, custom dining table. The epoxy is clear and tinted for a slightly grey hue. The smoky look comes from the frosted finish on the bottom while still keeping the crystal clear, see-through finish on the top.

🚨PROJECT REVEAL🚨

Lake inspired, custom epoxy counter tops.

Maple wood. Several different epoxy pigments. Countless hours of curing, sanding, polishing and installation. So proud of this big project, and how far my epoxy work has come in the past year. Thank you to everyone that has purchased my work (big or small). I can’t wait to see what the next few months have in store.

🚨 Custom Project Alert 🚨

This week has been full of late nights in the shop working on big projects. The latest is a 10ft long, custom countertop. Can’t wait to share the final product with you all! Here’s a video of the current progress — Flooding with Stone Coat Countertop epoxy for a heat-resistant finish.

Working with epoxy goes in waves🌊

Many people tell us that they watch epoxy videos on TikTok, and they love them - We do too! But, working with epoxy is a several step process that can take weeks for just one project and the type of work that needs to be done goes beyond the famous TikTok pour.

My most recent project has been working with maple burls create a coffee table that looks like a deep ravine with a wavey river going through the middle.

Follow along through the photos to look at some of the other steps it takes to create the work that you see on our page!

Photo 2: Prepping the wood (clamping it down, so it doesn’t float & sealing with epoxy to prevent bubbling). Pouring of the base layer of pigmented epoxy. Cure time 48 hours.

3&4: Add waves. Used FIVE different colors of epoxy for depth.

5: Fill the form with clear epoxy. Let cure for 48+ hours. Remove from form. Sand & router edges by hand for countless hours.

6: Clear coat 2-3 times with 24+ hours of cure time in between each.

(+ polishing & adding legs not yet completed)
