Who’s getting ready for Christmas?
I am!!
Working on new ornaments and Christmas decor but wanted to share my previous pieces. I used Lisa Peters ART ceramic and porcelain pieces to create these.
Some are from my own personal collection that I refuse to part with😄 and some will be for sale soon. One is already spoken for!
These are wintry landscape and wintry tree pieces.

Oh my! Took me longer than expected to finish the edge beading and determine how I wanted to add those little rizo beads at the bottom. I wanted to repeat them but wasn’t sure how I wanted them to hang. Figured it out after several tries. Then trying to determine a bail was another story. What I would have loved to use is one of my copper electroformed twigs but I don’t have any left and haven’t set up my electroforming station yet. Soooo I found this store bought copper tube that was the perfect size.

Now it goes to the jewelry table for the necklace portion. I sure hope to find time next week to sit at my jewelry table!
Time for attention to Halloween and Christmas items.

Finished beading this morrisonite jasper and Ceramic Shield shaped cabochon by Lisa Peters ART except for backing, edge beading, creating a bail and maybe deciding on some minimal fringe.
I had planned to be finished with this Monday so I could start work on Halloween & Christmas themed art and ornaments Sept 1 but life gets in the way sometimes. So when I finish this pendant and put it on my jewelry table for making the necklace (which I have 3 left waiting to finish😱) I will work on Halloween and Christmas items!!
My show is in October but I plan to do another ornament sale here like I did in November 2024. I didn’t have time last year with prepping for the big move. So keep watching to see what ornaments will be available. The date will most likely be in mid November.

I will have jewelry, beaded art including some Halloween and Christmas themed pieces. Plus a few ornaments!

Finished this beauty several days ago. Remember this pendant? A large turquoise stone with a beautiful ceramic ammonite by Lisa Peters ART.
Took photos in my studio which is in the basement. Didn’t look quite right so brought it upstairs to the sunroom. No special lighting just natural sunlight and it’s a partially cloudy day today. The colors look much better in this light.
Used copper beads, chrysoprase beads and bronzite beads to finish the necklace portion. It’s approximately 16” in length with about 2.5” extension chain.
I am so so tempted to keep this one😍

Oi 🤗 what a fun mail day today.
Look at these sea urchin beauties from MAKUstudio Raku Jewelry and Decor. Thanks Mak!
The colors are amazing and when I opened the boxes they had that fresh smell of raku. Love it! I used to raku many moons ago and this brought back fun memories of what I smelled like when I left the ceramic studio-smoky goodness.
Can’t wait to create with these💙
***there aren’t enough hours in a day to do all the beading I want to do. 🙃

New studio pup💙 welcome Leo. Nate comes down to my studio but prefers the bed in the bedroom close by rather than sleeping on the floor or in his bed that I have down here. Leo prefers the carpet and is happy to stay close by. I am busy working on another ammonite necklace while he snoozes
