A few tiny weavings from Sunday's workshop! 🧶🏞️

Inspired by landscape photos, everyone used color and proportion to create their own abstract mini weaving on a teeny 2" loom. Small in size, big on relaxing craft time!

At our Succulent Terrarium Workshop, we'll build a 6" glass terrarium together, one layer at a time. You'll learn a little about what goes into a healthy terrarium, then make it your own with colored sand, pebbles, moss, and little decorative accents.

New skills unlocked. 🎃 Last Thursday, a room full of first-time needle felters learned the art of poking, stabbing, and shaping fluffy sheep's wool into the cutest little pumpkins! We ended up with a whole patch in all kinds of shapes, sizes, and colors. So much fun! 🧡

Ever wanted to try weaving? 🧶

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll use colorful fibers to create a tiny landscape-inspired design, playing with color, texture, and shape.

You'll learn a few basic weaving techniques, then finish your piece in a small wood frame to display on the wall or use as a fridge magnet. No experience needed, and all materials are included!

After a lot of thought, I've decided it's time to close the Mesilla studio and make room for what's next.

Opening this location has been a special chapter for Assembly, and one I'll certainly miss! I'm grateful to everyone who has joined a workshop, tried something new, brought a friend, or supported this creative space over the past year.

We still have a few weeks left to make things together! Our remaining November workshops will be the last chance to join us in the studio, and on November 22, we'll be holding a closing clearance sale of craft supplies, tools, and more. I'll share more details about the sale soon.

While the Mesilla studio is closing, Assembly's virtual corporate events, video classes, and DIY kits will continue. There are new possibilities ahead, and I'm excited to see what's next.

I hope to see lots of you in the studio over these last few weeks. ❤️

Something new at next week’s Wood Burning Workshop: you get to choose your own piece! 🔥

Pick from serving boards (standard or large), plaques, or mini wood slices to hang. We’ll show you how to use the wood burning tool, and you can create your own design or use one of our stencils and printed designs for inspiration.
