When I say I'm not your average interior designer, here's what I mean...
As a holistic interior designer, my goal is to help you design your home with a wellness approach. To cater to your mind, body and soul.
Function and looks are important to me, but that's not the only thing I focus on.
My biggest concern is creating a mood or a feeling in your home that promotes wellness and positive vibrations. I do this by really listening to you, your wishes, and really listening to your living space to feel out the energy and the vibe... Lots of things in the home can cause energy imbalances and can be stress inducing. I'm there to help you take steps to reduce and correct those imbalances.
When you return home after a stressful day, the goal is to walk into your sanctuary and immediately be able to wash all the stress from the day away. The reality is that, we're surrounded by stressful situations. We can't be 100% happy all the time. But we can certainly reduce our stress levels by making positive shifts in your home.
If you're someone who could use some zenful moments in your life, I'm just one call away. Reach out anytime. Link in bio to book a call.💕

"Minimalism is not the lack of something. It's simply the perfect amount of something."
Wellness focused interior design always begins with the process of decluttering. Then you can move on to other things such as space planning, addressing lighting conditions, choosing the right colors that make you feel happy, followed by aesthetics.
One mistake I see quite often is purchasing too many storage bins or furniture just to hide things. The issue with this is that you're not making the clutter go away. You're just sweeping it under the rug until it reveals itself once again.
When it comes to decluttering here are a few tips I can recommend:
▪️Start by discarding obvious trash and things that are no longer important to you
▪️Before you can begin the process of organizing, focus on decreasing the amount of things you own first
▪️Once you've decluttered, you may begin organizing. Everything you own should have a proper home
▪️After you've organized, then you can begin optimizing your home using various interior design strategies
Sounds pretty easy, right? For some, this is not an easy task. When there's emotional attachment to material objects, one must work to change the mindset before any real progress can be made.
I'm not a therapist, but I will say that I've had my own share of struggles with letting go, and as a recovering shopholic, I can assure you that IT IS possible to change your mindset around your belongings. I'd love to help. Reach out to me and we can discuss. 💕

Remember, Rome wasn't built in a day. 💕
It's so important to get the help with planning out your dream home, especially when you've tried doing things yourself before and it hasn't quite turned out the way you had hoped.
Sure, it may not be done all in one day but you will at least have comfort knowing that you don't have to figure it out on your own, and get it right the first time.
I love to spend my time strategically planning out and choosing furnishings, finishes and fabrics, coordinating with vendors, sending out emails, coming up with sketches, all the way up to the "big reveal".
All of the little (and big) details leading up to the final result is what I love doing. It takes time. But the results are so worth it.
You don't need to find another way to make time for design. All you need to do is reach out to me and I'll take designing off your hands so that you can focus on your life and the things that matter to you.
Let's start planning out your dream living room, dream bedroom, dream home. Schedule a free discovery call with me today. Link in bio.

Mixing metals is an art and always in style. When done right, mixing metals gives a more curated and custom look than the usual matchy-matchy. Don't be afraid to step outside the box! If you're not sure how to do this, I can help. Contact me so that we can discuss your next design project.

I'll be honest. I didn't always care about mindfulness in the home. I returned back to work 5 weeks after my daughter was born 9 years ago so all I really cared about was working and providing for my family. Health and wellness was the last thing on my priority list.
Fast forward, 2 kids later, and we've had to deal with our fair share of health issues. From allergies to eczema and sensitive skin, even stress.
My son had really bad eczema as a baby. At 6 months old he litterally looked like a pepperoni pizza. I called him my cute little pizza face lol.
I soon realized that he had sensitivity to fragrances, so we eliminated all lotions, detergents and soaps with artificial fragrances. That is when I knew it was time to start making some serious changes in the home.
Here's the thing - Change doesn't happen overnight. You don't wake up one morning and say, "today is the day that I'm going to get rid of ALL toxins in the home." It's not possible, nor is it sustainable long term.
Change is a gradual process. You either become motivated to change due to situations like mine, or you just educate yourself overtime until it sticks.
So, I'm here to educate you, but I'm not here to force things on you either.
If you're considering changing up your habits in the home, one way you can start is by starting off slowly and to KEEP IT SIMPLE.
Maybe start off with fragrances like I did. Get rid of your scent plug-ins and swap them out for essential oil diffusers. When it comes to beauty products, you can look for things that are labeled "sensitive" or "paraben free." Then you can move on to cleaning products (such as removing bleach from the home), then you can start considering furnishings and permanent changes such as flooring and carpet.
You're busy, I get it. You don't have time to do all the research on your own. And I know how overwhelming it can be.
This is why I'm here. I've already done the research. Now all you have to do is ask for my help.
Book a free call with me once you have a project you're ready to get started on. 💕
