Let's talk stitches!

Since I started crocheting in 2014 while pregnant with my son, I have learned several unique stitches.

My go to stitch is the half double crochet demonstrated below. This allows my cuddly creations to be plushy. If structure is required, a single stitch offers that support.

My favorite blanket stitch is the Suzette pictured below in this baby blanket I'm working on. It's a tight stitch but supple for cuddling up in. What's your favorite stitch?

Labor of love but also why these custom pieces cost what they cost. Each "hair" is meticulously placed and knotted to the structure piece by hand. Once this step is complete, it's brushed and trimmed for shaping. This process often leaves fingers blistered and sore. If you are looking for a custom piece, reach out.
