Blue Velvet Oreo Brownies
Ingredients:
For the Brownies:
1 box blue velvet cake mix
1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup crushed Oreos (about 10 cookies)
For the Cream Cheese Swirl:
8 oz cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 large egg
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
For the Topping:
Additional crushed Oreos (optional)
Instructions:
Preheat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 350Β°F (175Β°C). Line a 9x13-inch baking dish with parchment paper or grease it lightly.
Prepare the Brownie Batter:
In a large bowl, combine the blue velvet cake mix, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined. Fold in the crushed Oreos.
Make the Cream Cheese Swirl:
In a separate bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
Assemble the Brownies:
Spread half of the blue velvet batter evenly in the prepared baking dish. Spoon the cream cheese mixture over the batter in dollops and swirl gently with a knife. Spread the remaining blue velvet batter on top.
Add Topping:
Sprinkle additional crushed Oreos over the top, if desired.
Bake:
Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean. Let the brownies cool completely in the pan before cutting into squares.
Serve:
